At the Sanvitale Fortress in Fontanellato, the manor visited in 2018 by over 55 thousand people, two more services arrive, two important improvements for the optimal reception of families with small children. The changing table has been positioned in the bathrooms for a few days and has already been used: the very first to have used it were the little Leonardos of 8 months from Milan, with mother Alice and father Luca, and Rebecca of 7 months from Lucca, with mother Giulia and dad Federico.
Changing table and bottle warmer have been made available by the Parmigianino Cooperative within the ATI that manages the Rocca Sanvitale Museum: «Equipping the bathrooms of the Rocca with a changing table is a small action that allows families with small children to be able to count on a practical point of support when choosing Fontanellato for a day out of town – explain Cinzia Comelli and Chiara Mulattieri of Cooperativa Parmigianino – to better enjoy their visit. Even the bottle warmer is a cuddle designed for the best possible care and welcome. We are also trying to find a comfortable space for breastfeeding. From these actions we cultivate a relationship of hospitality towards families. If we were to give a datum, from our observatory, couples like babies or very young children usually prefer Sunday morning as a favorite time to visit the Castle».
The toilet with the changing table is easily accessible even with strollers or prams. In short, from today the Rocca Sanvitale, site of the Castelli del Ducato Circuit (which organizes all-year visits to the court with the “Princesses”, the “Sunday Sundays”, creative workshops and fun family-based initiatives), becomes even more family friendly.
