It’s a weekend of discovery and intrigue, the “Valmalenco Caspoggio 3days”, which allows you to discover the beauty of the mountain in Malenca, in Lombardia, combined with experiential activities. All to live intensely, many of them in the small alpine village of Caspoggio, located on a hill at 1,098 meters of altitude, just five kilometers as the crow flies from the Swiss border, and perfectly placed in the heart of Valtellina, in the scenery of the central Alps. Numerous appointments in the name of entertainment, music and taste, thanks to the farmers market along the streets of Caspoggio: here it will be possible to participate in the “breakfast of the casaro” or tastings of street food based on local specialties, or even scour the historical center in search of suggestive views. The more sporty, however, will be able to grasp the countless opportunities that the area offers and that are the essence of the mountain itself. From trekking with mountain guides to mountain bike trails through photographic excursions with night in a refuge to capture the sunrise. Among the appointments stand out the visit to the astronomical observatory, dog trekking and “bambility” for dog lovers. Unmissable in this area is the Bagnada mine: an evocative place where you can experience directly a reality that in Val Malenco has been the protagonist for almost a century, permeating the culture of the valley. During the weekend “Valmalenco Caspoggio 3days” there will also be photographic exhibitions and thematic courses: from kites to the discovery of ointments with medicinal herbs, there is something for everyone. Naturally, there will also be moments of entertainment with fire shows, aerial dances, acrobatic shows and live concerts. Finally, for the most refined palates, there is a star-style Alpine style dinner, strictly by reservation. And the irreducible, the true fans of ancient villages, from here can trespass in the nearby province of Como and reach shortly a pentagram of emotions: the score is the villages of Bellagio and Menaggio, lying on the shores of Lake Como.
