B&B Casa Iole

The owner is Cecilia, an educator. For years she has been hosting people from all over the world and loves singing, travelling and good company. Cecilia, according to friends, is extrovert, nice, affectionate, full of ideas and always in a good mood. She speaks English, French and Spanish. She loves animals, in particular cats. The B&B Casa Iole is a finely restored part of the house of the farmers and sharecroppers of the Venetian nobles of the eighteenth century, the counts Rovereti Zurla, whose villa is still only two hundred meters away. Consisting of two units and open all year round, the B&B offers all the comforts to guests, who choose it for its strategic location, from which you can easily reach all the attractions offered by the area. The B&B Casa Iole from a historical point of view is part of a rural house of 1700 and its rooms reveal and express its history. That’s why the B&B Casa Iole is not made up of the usual and ordinary modern rooms pulled to new, squared rooms with straight and rectangular ceilings. Looking at the B&B from this point of view, everything in the structure has its own reason: the inner courtyard represents moments of work and the only real social life of the past, the house is built with large stones of granite taken from the river Adige, the double outer wall supports the building, the marble consumed in the central part of the walls of the main entrance door of Casa Iole was used to let the barrels used for the work of the fields pass; the barrel ceiling of the large central area of the open space gives stability to the house; the arched ceiling of the bathroom underlines an area of passage between two rooms; the recess for the TV was the window to let the animals have some air; the recess near the sink was a passage to join various parts of the house; the thickness of the wall was designed to give stability and coolness.

Casa Iole has an agreement with Aquardens in Pescantina and has an agreement with the Baia delle Sirene Park in Garda (Lake Garda). This will allow you to enjoy all leisure activities, whether they are related to a spa experience or one or more days near the quiet Lake Garda. A few dozen meters away there is the take-away pizzeria “San Francisco: da Sonia”; moreover, after about 500 meters, the Rossetto Supermarket offers its products of gastronomy: ready meals ranging from excellent grilled or stewed fish to an enviable variety of first and second courses, of excellent quality, which allow you to create in Casa Iole solutions for lunch or dinner to be consumed in complete serenity.

The B&B Casa Iole is located in a strategic position (in a sort of crossroads) between:

    Verona city and its historic center;
    the Valpolicella with its several historic villas and wineries;
    Lake Garda with its lake resorts and Gardaland / Garda parks;
    the extraordinary and unique spa complex in Verona Aquardens, just seven hundred meters away.
