The Hotel Restaurant La Rocca dei Malatesta is located inside Vandini Palace (XV century), unique tourist structure in the heart of the historical center of Frontino, by invoking theìattention of the visitor toìhumanism and the Renaissance. The Palace has been restored in 1980 and transformed into an elegant residence to family management, with finely furnished. From here, you can enjoy a mild and relaxing panorama and have the opportunities to live in a small, peaceful and welcoming community. The people of Montefeltro love quiet and respect for nature, has in common with the neighbors Romagnoli courtesy and sympathy toward the guests and in recent years there has been a steady growth in tourism despite the current recession. The Hotel
The Hotel has 18 comfortable rooms with a view of the hills and countryside of Montefeltro and the medieval village of Frontino. The single rooms are furnished with sensitivity and passion in every detail. The Environments propose in a refined way the materials of peasant house. All rooms are equipped with private bathroom with shower and toilet. A large lounge is at the disposal of the guests with books and TV for their moments of relaxation. The Internet connection is free and is present in all rooms. The rooms are divided into:

• double / twin rooms with private bathroom;
• triple rooms with a double bed and a couch;
• 2 family rooms from 4/6 beds consisting in two adjoining rooms with shared bathroom;

For groups we offer the free use of the 3 rooms of which the hotel is equipped and the cloister in front of it, with half board or full board, coffee break and continued bar service. For meals we use local raw materials, also suitable for vegans and gluten free diet. The fortress of the Malatesta is the ideal place also for your public and private events. Contact us if you intend to organise training courses, seminars, meetings, meetings, work meetings. At your disposal: the breakfast room (50/70 persons), the relaxation salon on the first floor (up to 50 persons) and the restaurant (30/40 persons). Is also possible to rent the whole structure.

The Restaurant
The Montefeltro, as known, is a land of castles, parish churches and convents. But perhaps not everyone knows that is also a land of strong and characterized flavors, as the places in which they are expressed and the kitchen that detects them. A gastronomic culture, created in time, linked to indicative signs: mountain ethnicity, simplicity, sense of tradition. Is the culture that we find in the dishes of our restaurant: Tagliatelle with mushrooms and truffle, the characteristic cappelletti in broth (Christmas typical dish), pigmeat, sheepmeat, bovine such as the famous and prized Chianina Marchigiana, grows and crostoli, good cheeses (formaggio di fossa, the walnut tree leaves, Casciotta dìUrbino, favored by the famous Michelangelo), ricotta, many herbs of the field, still mushrooms, honey and still the delicious truffles. Finally, the wide variety of local meats, starting from the famous Carpegna San Leo Ham. And to accompany all, an excellent selection of the best local wines, Sangiovese and Bianchello del Metauro in primis, in addition to a selected choice of national white and red wines.
