Aosta Valley

The Aosta Valley is an exquisitely alpine region where mountain nature blends with the green and fertile landscapes of the wide and sunny valley. A winter destination for its many ski resorts, the Aosta Valley is also a land of villages and castles. Among the most beautiful villages are surely the Fortress of Bard, Fénis, but also Gressoney Saint-Jean, as well as Etroubles and Arnad, where PDO lard, the best in Europe, is produced. Those who go to Valle d’Aosta, therefore, choose not only the mountain aspect but also the historical and cultural aspect, on which the region relies heavily in terms of tourism.
