Inside the ancient Battaglia Palace is staged a multimedia sensorial room dedicated to food processes and enogastronomic linked to bread. In the same structure is organized an exhibition of typical products linked to the territory. Users during the visit will be able to take in addition to sensory experience in the multimedia room, participate in enogastronomic events and courses of food education.
The purpose of the museum is to induce the consumer to recognition of belonging to a local gastronomic culture, but also to promote an informative program/educational that knows how to contend with the cultural complexity of the phenomenon/food and aims to make him known and appreciated.
The Mediterranean Diet Museum represents a tool of “direction” useful to make autonomous choices and become consumers aware of the benefits and disadvantages of foodstuffs. Also aims to develop the individual capacity to choose with conscience your style of life.
