Pianetto, a charming hamlet located in Galeata, è a jewel of history and architecture not to be missed. Presumably born in medieval times along the road that led to the castle, this hamlet è features buildings that mostly date back to the 17th and 18th centuries.
Walking along the main street, one can admire several points of interest, such as the picturesque washhouse at the entrance to the village, the old Versari palace with the family coat of arms, and the charming little square in front of the Church of Santa Maria dei Miracoli, built in 1884 in the shape of a semicircle. The small square è embellished by a central fountain that gushes, creating an enchanting atmosphere. From here, you can embark on a double climb that leads to the path leading to the medieval castle.
The village is also home to the cloisters of the Convent of the Minor Fathers, a charming place, and the Mambrini Civic Museum, which houses valuable historical artifacts.
