The church matrix or of the Immaculate dates back to the Sixteenth Century but was completely remodeled in 1882. It is enriched by an elegant Baroque portal early 700, above which soars the stone statue of the Virgin the titular of the Church. The interior has three naves and among the items of greater artistic value list: nineteenth-century altars dedicated to Our Lady of Good Counsel, Madonna del Carmine, and Immaculate; the painting that portrays the Immaculate work of Aniello Letizia. Remarkable is the wooden statue eighteenth-century of San Donato, which leads devoutly in the procession and the silvery reliquary which confirms a femur of the Holy. Precisely to the saint is dedicated a chapel dating back to the XI century. Inside it is still today the fresco of the ‘400 depicting San Donato, protector of the country and of epilepsy. Beside the church matrix, on the left, is positioned a small church dedicated to Our Lady of Sorrows, built in 1856, has inside one altar in Lecce stone on which we find a painting of the Virgin desolate. In the lockers at the wall there are also some Papier mâché sculpture, some of which are used for the procession of the Mysteries of the Holy Friday.
