The House of the Frescoes of Novalesa represents one of the symbols of the strong bond that joined the village with the hill and the road of the Moncenisio, among the few examples in the Alpine Arc: Bussoleno in Valle di Susa, Moncalieri in Turin and Brunico in Val Pusteria.
Characterized by an ornate facade of Savoy coats of arms and of the principles of Europe such as England, France, Saluzzo, Britain, probably had the function of providing a guarantee of professionalism and shows a customary to accommodate characters of high rank. The paintings in the facade can be traced to two distinct moments between the fourteenth and the late 1400s.
Inside the house of the Frescoes divided in two environments, has decorations in tapestry, among the few survivors of the profane buildings in Valle di Susa, with patterns of diamonds and waves, but also volutes floral corolla red and a curtain to fringes in red probably prior to the fourteenth century.
