The Chapel dedicated to Saint Roch, whose date of construction, MDCXIV (1614) is engraved in Roman numerals in the centre of the archway that divides the vima (bema) from the nave, was built on a previous religious building, the body of which was the part of the presbytery with a square shape and a Byzantine dome.
The latter, in the intrados, is frescoed with the representation of the four evangelists on the pendentives, while the body of the vault itself is frescoed with the Last Judgement.
