Built in 1721 and of Greek-Byzantine rite in Piazza Vittorio Veneto in San Paolo Albanese. Inside you can admire newly made Byzantine icons. It is interesting to attend the Holy Liturgy celebrated in Greek and Albanian.
During the last restoration, a fresco came to light on an altar in the right aisle, in which the chalice with the host is painted. The peculiarity lies in the fact that the host is not round but square and bears an inscription in Greek (Iesùs Cristòs Nikà ): the presence of the inscription in Greek and the square shape of the host allow us, without a shadow of a doubt, to state that the church was used to say Mass in the Greek rite.
In the village rite there are no statues of saints, only icons: due to the mixture of rites over the centuries, processions with statues are held in São Paulo.
