Villa Fidelia is a building fenced secentesco equipped with a large park and Italian garden, built on the site of a Roman sanctuary of the IV century. Were the Urbani’s, a wealthy family of Spello, in the seventeenth century, to realize the new desire of the nobility of owning a villa in the countryside outside the Walls, where you can spend a good season.
On 25 October 1930 the prestige of the baroque residence induced the king of Italy Vittorio Emanuele III chose it as the seat of the lavish reception for the wedding (celebrated in the basilica of San Francesco in Assisi) of daughter Giovanna with King Boris III of Bulgaria.
