The Eremo Di San Michele is a suggestive sanctuary, in the homonymous valley. A first uncertain hypothesis about the origin of the small church of San Michele Arcangelo, one of the oldest in Tremosine sul Garda, claims that its construction was the work of the Lombards, of whom the saint was the protector after their conversion to Christianity, which took place in the eighth century.
The church can be traced back to the 14th century, while the lower part of the perimeter walls shows older construction techniques. In 1679 the Veronese priest Florenio Feliberi, established a hermitage where he lived, died and was buried.
