La Tchavana is an agriturismo in the municipality of Ayas, in Aosta Valley. This area of the region is home to several alpine pastures: our animals live a good life in the great outdoors thanks to the mild weather and the green pastures.
The agriturismo is surrounded by vegetation, near the clear waters of Ru Courtod: this stream runs through meadows and pine forests – the perfect place to walk in tranquillity and enjoy the peace of nature.
The restaurant welcomes visitors with itsintimate atmosphere and its stunning view of Monte Rosa glacier.
Along with the restaurant, you may also visit other interesting parts of the agriturismo: the farm with the stall; the dairy where high-quality products are made; the cellar for the aging of Fontina DOP and Gran Gessato d’;Ayas, the most famous local cheeses of everyday production.
We also have a small shop where you can taste and buy our dairy products and cured meats – a fresh souvenir from Val d’;Ayas, made with honest ingredients.
